• Keyboard shortcuts or hotkey preferences

• Installation or usage statistics

How Launchie Works

Launchie operates entirely on your local machine. The app:

• Reads your Applications folder to display available apps
• Stores your custom folder arrangements and app organization locally on your Mac
• Saves your hotkey preferences in local system preferences
• Does not communicate with any external servers or services

Local Data Storage

Any preferences or settings you configure in Launchie are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS user preferences. This data never leaves your device and includes:

• Your custom app folder organization
• Keyboard shortcut preferences
• Application window settings

This data is stored in your user library and can be removed by uninstalling the application or manually deleting the preference files.

Network Activity

Launchie does not make any network connections. The application:

• Does not connect to the internet
• Does not send data to any servers
• Does not check for updates automatically
• Does not report usage statistics

Third-Party Services

The Launchie application does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The Launchie website does use a limited number of third-party services for analytics, embedded videos, and newsletter delivery as described below.

Website Analytics

While the Launchie application itself collects no data, this website (launchie.app) uses Umami Analytics to understand visitor traffic and download activity. We only load Umami after you accept optional cookies or tracking technologies through the cookie banner. Website analytics may include:

• Page views and visitor counts
• Download statistics
• General geographic location (country/region level)
• Browser and device type

This website data is kept separate from the application and is used solely to understand how people discover and download Launchie. If you decline optional cookies, Umami is not loaded.

Embedded Videos

Some pages on this website include video tutorials hosted by YouTube. These embeds are blocked by default and only loaded after you accept optional cookies. When a YouTube video is loaded, YouTube or Google may receive information such as your IP address, browser details, and which page on launchie.app you visited. Loading or interacting with the embed may also set third-party cookies or similar technologies on your device.

We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain where possible, but loading a YouTube player may still involve third-party data processing. You can avoid loading embedded videos by declining optional cookies, or open the video directly on YouTube instead.

Newsletter

If you sign up for the Launchie newsletter, we collect your email address and store it in our website database so we can send a confirmation email and, after confirmation, future product updates. We use a double opt-in process, which means your subscription is only activated after you confirm the email we send you.

• Signup and confirmation timestamps

Newsletter emails are delivered through Resend. We use this information only to operate the newsletter and do not use it for advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.

Cookie and Consent Storage

When you interact with the cookie banner, we store your consent choice locally in your browser so we can remember whether optional analytics and YouTube embeds should be loaded. This preference storage is used only to respect your decision.

Children's Privacy

Since we don't collect any personal information, Launchie is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data Security

Since no data is collected or transmitted, there are no data security concerns related to personal information. All your preferences and settings remain securely on your local machine.

Your Rights

For the Launchie application, there is generally no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete. For the website and newsletter, depending on applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal data we process. You can:

• Uninstall Launchie at any time to remove all local preferences
